She founded Sheffield Young Writers and regularly runs writing clubs for children. She’s worked as a creative consultant with children and young people for The Reading Agency, The National Literacy Trust and BookTrust.

Description is perhaps the most creative storytelling mode, when writers get to paint beautifully detailed pictures with words. But sometimes we get a little carried away and our prose gets all tangled up in its own imagery. In this interactive masterclass, participants will review the various descriptive tools, learn to avoid common description pitfalls, and explore how to power-up descriptive passages.

Book now to get the early-bird rate of only £6 (limited availability).
